- The Grape Life is a very cool little wine lounge. It’s located on the NW corner of Kimberly Road and Elmore Ave in Davenport, in the same building as Panera Bread.
- It has a feel of a nice, relaxing living room, with comfortable couches and easy chairs. You can buy wine by the glass ($7 to $11). And they also sell wine by the bottle ($15 to $30), to either drink there or take home with you.
- The focus is on wine, but they do have a small selection of beers and soft drinks.

- I played at the Davenport Police Dept SWAT team Christmas party at the Knights of Columbus building on Dec 8.
- Talk about pressure...If I didn't do a good job, I could have been thrown in jail or shot. Just kidding! Everyone was very friendly, helpful, and welcoming! What a nice, fun-loving bunch of guys.
- They're actually called the Emergency Services Team (EST). Thanks to Amy and Greg for booking me.

- I played at Muddy Waters on Sun Nov 27, 6pm-9pm.
- Steve Steiner joined me on lead guitar for most of the night. Great fun! Thanks for helping me out!
- Also, Buddy Olson stopped by, borrowed Steve's guitar, and provided his own inspirational lead riffs.
- It was an honor to perform with both of these very talented master-musicians!

- I played at a fundraiser for the Rock Island Public Library on Thurs Nov 3, 5:00pm to 7:30pm
- Great event! Lots of folks. I had a blast! Delicious food and drinks!
- Wonderful people to meet and talk with (including my 11th grade English teacher - Mrs Brauch).
- A big highlight for me was getting to jam with Edgar Crockett near the end of the evening. What a pleasure to hear him improvise on trumpet to Jimi Hendrix's "Little Wing".
- A big 'Thank You' to Lisa Lockheart. Way cool...  

- I played at a private House Party at Bob & Cindy's on Sat Oct 7. Beautiful house out in the country! Wonderful, fun, and friendly people! Lot's of dancing. Lot's of wine! What a great time!
- Cindy, Marla, and others got up and sang with me. Everyone was singing along throughout the evening.
 - Bob jammed with me on his guitar, and stole the show with a funny song he wrote, plus a great cover of "If I only had a Brain".
- The perfect party!  

- I played at the Moline Rotary Club meeting on Mon Sept 19. Great group of generous people. Thanks for the opportunity, Vicky!!!

- Mojo's is changing how they do business. As a result, they will no longer be giving performers a fixed date each month. I will still play my usual day on Sept 16. But after that, I'll be booking gigs one at a time, and they probably won't be on the "3rd Friday of the Month". I will send out an email to let you know. And you can check my gig calendar on this web-site.

- I had a great time playing at 'Friday Live @ 5' - RME Courtyard Series on Fri Sept 9, 5pm-7pm, outside next to the River Music Experience building. Rob Dahms (lead guitar) and Jim Stroehle (drums) joined me, as well as special guest Ellis Kell (bass). Excellent legendary musicians!
- It was a privilege and an honor to play this event.
- This was sponsored by Happy Joe's, and Joe Whitty, himself, was there to celebrate his 74th birthday, with cake for everyone. Daughter Kristel, sang a few special songs with the band (beautiful voice). Happy Birthday, Joe!
- Our songs filled the downtown area thanks to the cool sound system provided by Frank (River Cities Sound and Lights).
- We had a large, wonderful audience. Thank you all !!!

- "We're getting the band back together!" I played with The Gamblers at a wedding reception for Michelle Tinman and Brock Shradar. What a beautiful bride (and handsome groom)! The party took place near Sherrard, IL on a secluded 39 acre estate with woods, a lake, and gazebo. A big thanks to everyone for rocking the night with us! Way cool...

- I played a band gig at The Outing Club for Jennifer Chen's and Scott Teasdale's 50th Birthday party. What a great time! Big thanks to Tony Carducci (lead guitar) and Leif Rehnberg (drums) for making some cool music! And a big thanks to Tim Chen for booking us! (You Da' Man!)

- I played a gig at Parkside Grill & Lounge for Steve Slininger's 50th Birthday party. What a wonderful, fun bunch of folks! Lots of singing and dancing! Thank you all so much!

- I played a Private Party gig at Wildfire Grill downtown Davenport on Sat Dec 18.
- Big Thanks to hosts Jim and Ann Petre.
- Rob Dahms joined me on lead guitar. A truly gifted musician! It was quite an honor to perform with Rob!

- In case you haven't heard, Fireworks Coffeehouse has closed. I had some fun times there, and will miss it.
